Cheri Chor Peak 6030m (5450m)

Cheri Chor Peak 6030m has two route to approach its base camp. One from main Shigar valley from Skoro village and then to Skoro Lungma and the second route is little longer from Askole, Testay, Monjong, Thal Brok, Darso Brok.

It is reported that in 1928 Italian Karakoram Exploration Expedition member Mr. Balestreri attempted it solo but there is no confirm record.

The famous Skoro La 5073m also falls  in this region which connect Shigar central to Askole village. In the past a marathon was also organize on this route.

One can consider Cheri Chor Peak 6030m as virgin peak to make first modern time ascent, or make new route.
