Pastore Peak Expedition

• Elevation: 6210 meters / 6393 meters / 6379 meters
• Location: opposite Broad Peak in the Karakoram Range
• Difficulty: Considered an “easy trekking peak” compared to its neighboring giants but involve rock and ice climbing
• Duration: Typically, around 20-25 days, depending on the itinerary starting from Skardu to back Skardu
• Highlights: Stunning views of K2, Broad Peak, and other surrounding peaks, challenging yet rewarding trekking experience

Itinerary Overview

1. Day 1-2: Arrival in Islamabad / Skardu
2. Day 3-4: Travel to Skardu, acclimatization, and preparation / briefing and preparation.
3. Day 5-11: Jeep ride and Trek from Skardu to the base camp of Pastore Peak at Khal Khal glacier.
4. Day 12-14: Ascent to the summit of Pastore Peak.
5. Day 15-20: Descent and return to Skardu by the same route or by the Gondogoro la to Hushe and Skardu.
6. Day 21-22: Return to Islamabad and departure.
