We are offering Karakoram Air Safari in collaboration with Pakistan International Airlines. A day trip can be extended with short tour of Skardu Valley.

We also offer Karakoram helicopter safari for those who have little time to see the majistic mountain K2, during a week tour we land near K2 base camp and take some of the best pictures of our life before return to Islamabad via Skardu.

Single Supplements will be charge to those people to cover our extra expenses mentioned below, if going alone (one person) from Islamabad to base camp, These extra expenses are to cover the expenses of additional permit allow you to trek to Baltoro the restricted zone this permit is other then Peak permit, guide / Cook and minimum number of porters to drop you at base camp, and the basic food and equipment requirements for transportation from Islamabad to Askole village and further to base camp.

 

ITEMS INCLUDED IN OUR LAND COST

 

1. Hotels and Hotel Meals: Rawalpindi/Islamabad or Chilas/Skardu with meals lunch dinner and breakfast.

 

2. Ground or Air Transport:

I).         Transport from Rawalpindi/Islamabad to Chilas / Skardu for all climber and their cargo and at the time of return transport from Skardu to Islamabad for all climbers and their cargo either by air (one way by air is included in the package either from Islamabad to Skardu or Skardu to Islamabad) or by road. If clients want to fly both ways by air, extra cost will be charge separately.

II).       Jeeps where require. Jeep will be provided for minimum 3 people, if less then 3 people clients will pay for their own jeep. Van will be Provided From/To Islamabad for minimum 4 people, if less then 4 people extras will be charge to cover the price equal to 4 people.

 

 

3. Porters:

a.         Porters from Askole up to the base camp and porters from Base camp to Askole or Hushe. Porters rest days, wages, meat money, equipment and Jolla and bridge fee and Insurance.

b.         Porters Sirdar for going up to the base camp and Return from Base Camp. Important; 3 Porter UP and 2 Porters DOWN To/From base camp per client is included in our package.

 

4. Insurance for Pakistani staff: Insurance for guide, cook, LAP/HAP (porters), Liaison Officer.

 

5. Camping equipment and Food: Complete kitchen equipment for members and Liaison Officer, per person base camp tents, mess tent, kitchen tent, camping fee, tarpaulins for porter’s shelter, drums to carry food, mattress and one month member’s food at base camp and separate food plan during the trekking.

 

6. Our staff agreement: Guide or base camp manager, Cook, Kitchen Boy their wages, food, insurance and equipment.

 

7. Peak Royalty Fee: Peak fee K2 12000 US dollars/Broad Peak, Gasherbrum and Nanga Parbat 9000 US dollars, Spantik Peak 2500 US dollars, Environment fee US dollars 200 per peak. Our prices for different peaks and package mentioned herewith are subject to 50% discount by the Government of Pakistan on mountain peak fee.

 

8. Liaison Officer: LO daily wages 30 dollars per day in city and 15 dollars per day while in mountain. LO kit and equipment or equipment money up to US dollars 1500.

 

9. Solar Panel: Since 2007 we are successfully providing Solar Panel large size to our expeditions which allow you to charge your cameras, telephone batteries and to run computer at base camp. NO other company until now is providing this service.

 

10. Miscellaneous Services:

I).         Airport transfers on arrival and at the time of return.

II).       Procurement of import and export permit for expedition cargo and storage of expedition cargo at our office in Islamabad or Skardu for free. However payment of any fee charges to cargo clearing agent will be bill separately.

III).      Procurement of Helicopter Rescue Bond from Ministry of Tourism against expeditions actual deposit (6000 US Dollars).

VI).      Environment bond US Dollars 1000/= We will give guarantee to Ministry of Tourism on behalf of expedition for Environment Bond if the environment is damage, expedition will be pay up to US dollars 1000/= before the de-briefing.

 

10. Items not included: Travel insurance, the cost expenses or charges arising from any special request made by the clients in relation to their holidays, International airfare and Airport departure taxes or excess baggage charges (for domestic flight), Transport or items not mentioned in itinerary or terms and conditions, special diet, drinks, accommodation upgrades, medication, laundry, telephone calls, personnel gear clothing, services above base camp, and all other things which does not mentioned in our terms or includes in our program.

 

11. Delays: If the trip has to be delayed due to canceled or delayed flights, sickness, accidents, bad weather, road washouts, Govt. restrictions, or any other contingency for which for which Jasmine Tours cannot make provisions, the resulting extra cost for such delays will be charged separately.

 

12. Reservations and Advance Payment:

01.       All provisional reservation must reach us in writing at least 120 days before your arrival in .

02.       No deposits are necessary for making any provisional reservations.

03.       For provisional reservation we need your NAME / SEX / NATIONALITY / PASSPORT NUMBER / DATE AND PLACE OF ISSUE OF PASSPORT / EXPIRY DATE OF PASSPORT /DATE OF BIRTH / PROFESSION / ADDRESS

04.       All provisional reservations are subject to confirmation on deposit of US Dollars 1500/= advance payment into our account 60 days before arrival of the group/client in . The balance amount must be paid on arrival in .

13. Cancellations: All cancellations must be notified in writing to Jasmine Tours.  Cancellation charges will be levied as follows:-

 

01.       Whenever canceled, the bank charges for both sides from the advance will be paid by the clients.

02.       If canceled any time after the commencement of the trip, or after deposit of Peak fee due to any reason whatsoever, No refund will be given on any unutilized services other than hotels, meals and air tickets which are subject to cancellation charges accordingly.

03.       If the expedition is cancelled, government rules will be applied for the refund of Peak Royalty Fee in case trip booked for private groups.

 

14. Liabilities and Responsibilities of Jasmine Tours: Jasmine Tours, its agents, employees or any of the affiliates or subsidiary companies shall neither be responsible nor liable for any loss, damage, injury, sickness or death caused to any member or the property of the group directly or indirectly due to any irregularity, delay, accident, theft, acts of God, dangers, fire, vehicle breakdown, machinery failure, declared or undeclared hostilities, civil disturbances, strikes, riots, theft, pilferage, epidemics, quarantines, medical or customs regulations, delays, cancellations or changes in itinerary or schedules, Govt. restrictions or due to any causes beyond the control of Jasmine Tours.

 

15. Clients Insurance: All Clients/travelers must be protected by insurance that covers cancellation, accident, health, emergency evacuation and loss or damage to baggage and personal effects minimum up to 20,000 US Dollars. Jasmine Tours will not be responsible for those groups/clients arriving without insurance in case of emergency.

 

16. Passport and Visa: After 9/11 ’s visa policy for foreigners is very strict. We advice you to book your trip minimum 3 month before your arrival in Pakistan to avoid any problem in preparing papers to support your visa need for Pakistan. All participants must be in possession of a valid passport and obtain a Pakistani visa. We help our clients with visa invitation letter, on providing personal information in advance NAME / SEX / NATIONALITY / PASSPORT NUMBER / DATE AND PLACE OF ISSUE OF PASSPORT / EXPIRY DATE OF PASSPORT /DATE OF BIRTH / PROFESSION / ADDRESS

 

17. Optional / Extra Service:

1) High Altitude Sherpa (Porter) 25 $ per day plus 1000 $ equipment money (one time).

2) EPI gas 10 US dollars per 250ml

3) Oxygen Bottle Poisk 3kg/4kg (Russian made) 1000 with mask and regulator

4) High Altitude Tents

5) Thuraya prepaid cards of 20 Units cost around 25 dollars

6) Blue Plastic Drum 10 US dollars per piece

 

18. Complaints Procedure: If you have a complaint about your holiday, you are required to confirm details of any such complaint or problem in writing supported by appropriate evidence relating to that complaint within 15 days of returning from the holiday in question of doubt or lake of avoidance of doubt we will not accept any liability or deal any complaint are received by us later than 15 days of your return from the holiday.
